I also negotiated the sole UK Free Flight distributorship for the excellent Diplex altimeters, and suddenly had copious sales, and a new business!
When I wanted a new Chargus Cyclone hang glider, the local dealer and legend John Long agreed to sell me one as long as I took on the dealership. It seemed like a good idea. Over 40 years later and I have been the major supplier of Airwave Gliders during their remarkable heyday in the 1980s, then spent twenty years as UK importer for the magnificent Moyes Gliders from Australia.
Nowadays I'm taking things easier, concentrating on Charly helmets and accessories and lots of secondhand items. It is all about having fun.
