DHV1 Canopies that are ideal for first-time pilots, and those who just want to have fun in maximum safety.
EN B Nowadays this classification is for gliders aimed at pilots with a bit of experience under their belts. They want a bit more performance so that XC flying is easier, and yet they also want a high degree of safety and security. The Phoenix does all this, and is a delight to fly.
DHV2 This is the certification area where you will find out-and-out Sport canopies. Pilots wanting better XCs and with sufficient experience to look after themselves when the going gets rough will tend to be looking at DHV 2 wings. Not all DHV 2 wings are safe and easy to fly, but the Firebird Eagle is!
Competition The new Firebird Platoon is aimed at the Competition pilot. It bears the striking new FB colour scheme, and we have a demo Large!
Tandem We believe that Tandem canopies have, by definition, to be pretty safe whilst being endowed with a bit of performance! So DHV 1-2 is a sensible certification to aim for.
