Renschler Hang glider mount
The Renschler Hang Glidier mount is an inspired design utlising just a little alloy plate and some velcro. As a result it weighs next to nothing, creates almost zero drag, and is easily formed (OK, that means bent) to present the instrument at just the right angle to the pilot and the airflow. It is relatively cheap, too. Pilots have also adapted it to accept GPS units and other difficult-to-mount instruments. Inspired, but the latest CoMo versions don't have the Velcro top.
