Stability Check, Moyes Glider
I will carry out a stability check on a Moyes Glider - measure sprog heights and adjust to factory setting if required. This is a time-consuming job requiring the correct environment, tools and knowledge, so the price shown is in addition to the cost of a full service. If you want a stability check alone, the price is £125, depending on the model of glider - older gliders tend to cost more.

Full inspection, non-Moyes Hang Glider
Simon stripped and checked his first hang glider in 1976. Life was simpler then, and gliders are now much more complex. We can usually offer servicing facilities for non-Moyes gliders, but this does depend upon the time of year, the make and the availability of spares. Why not call for a chat about your machine?

Hang Glider Visual Inspection.
Simon has over thirty years of experience of sorting out hang gliders. He can often identify problems with a glider simply by taking a close look at it, and thus people are always seeking his opinion. That is why we offer this visual service, and the price can be reduced if you do all the rigging and derigging!

Test Flight Hang Glider
Simon's many years of experience are much in demand to help sort out problems with customer's gliders. Don't expect him to just fly a problem machine - he's not that stupid - but he will test fly gliders after servicing them, if requested. Note that this service isn't cheap because it usually involves a full working day, considerable transport mileage, and 34 years of accumulated knowledge. None of that comes cheap!

Paraglider Inspection
Let me sort out the mess! I carry out a full inspection of your paraglider, and provide a written report at the end of it, together with an average porosity reading. This is a fairly lengthy process when done properly, so the price shown is basic - any parts and lines required will cost extra, as will shipping charges

Paraglider Porosity Check
A porosity check is a simple method of getting a realistic assessment of the overall condition of a paraglider, and its likely useful life - without having to have a full service. I use my trusty JDC porosimeter to measure four cells across the entire span.

Reserve Repack
Simon packed his first reserve about 30 years ago, and has done hundreds since. Some have saved people's lives, and he has had one deployment himself - so probably knows what he is doing. Our price is higher than many, but that is partly because we air all canopies for 24 hours before repacking, we don't automatically condemn reserves that are over ten years old and he takes his time to make sure he is doing everything properly. Sometimes, as in this photo, the weather allows us to give them a really good airing!
